Ronnie Hunter, Owner/Founder
Ronnie is a native of South Carolina, who grew up in Hemingway, and has a deep-rooted involvement in the community. He has always been one to create his realities out of dreams or ideas, which could not have been accomplished without the considerable support from his friends, family, and teams.
Ronnie has returned to S.C., after following his career dreams in fashion retail and living in Atlanta, New York City, and Miami. He loves living at The Cabin on Black River, just outside of Georgetown. His days are filled with spending time with his best friend Noël, chilling on the dock or enjoying the simple life he has.
Ronnie is also very active in the local community theater and is the Co-founder/Artistic Director of the Swamp Fox Junior Players.

Mission Statement: Who and What is the Mercantile South Carolina?
Support Local
The Mercantile is focused on providing local products, supporting local businesses, procuring local items, showcasing local artist, collaborating with local vendors and working within the local community. The focus is on LOCAL.
Artist Corner
The Mercantile is excited to feature small local artists with incredible ideas, to give them a place to have exposure, and a place to showcase their talents. Artists will have the opportunity to give back to the community by hosting classes, readings, and demonstrations. We are thrilled to have collaborations with local artists and craftsman.
Giving Back
The Mercantile is also focused on giving back to its community. We will be out and about supporting local events and charitable organizations. We will also be doing community support with smaller personal projects to better our earth.
